The list is public. Almost nobody works it in time.

Yes — you can download the DRE file yourself for free. Most brokerages don’t. It’s a raw spreadsheet with coded fields, it changes every week, and by the time someone on your team cleans it, the best new agents have already been called by the brokerage that got it first.

Doing it yourself, every week

  • Remember to go find the new file — every single week
  • Decode 27 columns of DRE field codes (RE 776 definitions)
  • Remove renewals and duplicates, keep only true new licenses
  • Separate salespersons, brokers, corporations & officers
  • Manually flag who is “Licensed NBA” — no broker affiliated
  • Sort by county so your offices only see their territory

Unaffiliated agents in one week’s file

“Licensed NBA” means the DRE shows no broker affiliated for that new licensee. They passed, they’re licensed — and they still need a brokerage. That is the exact moment a recruiting call works. Our digest puts those 163 at the top, flagged, every week.

One recruited agent who closes can be worth thousands in commission splits over a year. The digest costs $99/month.

What the digest looks like

Yes — every row is one person. In the real digest you get that person’s full name as licensed with the DRE, plus their license number, license type, status (Licensed or Licensed NBA), affiliation (the brokerage’s name, or no brokerage if NBA), full mailing address of record (street, city, state, and ZIP), county, and the original issue, effective, and expiration dates. The rows below are real entries pulled from the latest week’s list (Oct 27–30) — the sample shows the core columns and flags; the full digest carries every field listed below.

What you see for each person: Full name as licensed  ·  License number  ·  License type (Salesperson, Broker, Corporation, or Officer)  ·  Status (Licensed, or Licensed NBA)  ·  Affiliation — the brokerage’s name, or “No brokerage yet”  ·  Full mailing address of record (street, city, state & ZIP)  ·  County  ·  Dates: original issue, effective & expiration. No phone or email: the DRE does not publish those.

Every lead includes

  • Full name as licensed with the DRE
  • License number
  • License type: Salesperson, Broker, Corporation, or Officer
  • Status: Licensed — or Licensed NBA (no broker affiliated)
  • Affiliation: the brokerage’s name — or “No brokerage yet” if NBA
  • Full mailing address of record: street, city, state & ZIP
  • County
  • Dates: original issue, effective & expiration

Leads with no brokerage yet (NBA) come first in every digest. Leads are shared with all subscribers — never exclusive.

What it does not include — honestly

The DRE does not publish phone numbers or email addresses for licensees, so the digest doesn’t invent them. You get the verified name, place, and timing — your team reaches out through your normal recruiting channels, while the lead is still brand-new.

That’s the same trade-off as a fresh permit or filing list: the value is being first with a clean, complete list — not a scraped phone number.

Inside the latest verified batch

We opened the actual DRE weekly file and counted it. All 279 records had an original date equal to the effective date — meaning every one was a genuinely new license, not a renewal sneaking in.

How it works

No software to learn. No dashboard to check. The work lands in your inbox.

1

The DRE publishes

California’s Department of Real Estate posts its official list of newly issued licenses. It’s public, non-confidential information — free, raw, and messy.

2

We clean & flag it

We keep only true new licenses, decode the fields, remove duplicates, sort by county, and flag every licensee with no brokerage affiliated at the top.

3

You recruit first

The finished digest arrives by email each week. Your recruiters work the unaffiliated names first — while those agents are still choosing where to hang their license.

Simple pricing, built for recruiting math

Brokerages don’t need another $300/month recruiting platform. They need the list, on time, every week.

$1 for your first 30 days

Then $99/month. No contract. Cancel anytime.

Weekly digest
  • ✓Every new California licensee that week — the full list, not a teaser
  • ✓Unaffiliated (“Licensed NBA”) agents flagged & sorted first
  • ✓Salespersons, brokers, corporations & officers, separated by type
  • ✓Sorted by county so each office works its own territory
  • ✓Delivered by email — no login, no software, no training
Start for $1 — see FAQ first if you’re unsure

Trial is $1 for 30 days, then $99/month until you cancel. Leads are shared, not exclusive — every subscriber receives the same weekly digest.

Why $99 is an easy yes

A single agent you recruit this month can produce for your brokerage for years. Recruiting platforms and coaching programs charge several hundred dollars a month and still make you find the names. This is just the names — fresh, complete, and first — for less than one office lunch a month.

Who this is for

  • Brokers & broker-owners growing a team
  • Recruiters & office managers with hiring targets
  • Team leaders expanding into new California counties
  • New brokerages that need agents now, not in six months

Questions brokerages ask

Yes — the DRE list is public and free, and we’ll never pretend otherwise. What you pay for is the work and the timing: downloading it every week, decoding the fields, removing renewals and duplicates, flagging the unaffiliated agents, sorting by county, and having it in your inbox without anyone on your team remembering to go get it. Most brokerages know the list exists in theory and never work it in practice. Subscribers work it every week.
No. This is a shared digest — every subscriber gets the same weekly list, which is why it can cost $99/month instead of thousands. Your edge is speed and follow-up: the unaffiliated agents are flagged first so you can be the first call they get.
Yes. Every lead shows exactly the same fields: full name exactly as licensed with the DRE; license number; license type (Salesperson, Broker, Corporation, or Officer); status — Licensed, or Licensed NBA when they have no broker affiliated; affiliation — the brokerage’s name, or “No brokerage yet” if NBA; the full mailing address of record (street, city, state, and ZIP); county; and the dates — original issue, effective, and expiration. Leads with no brokerage yet (NBA) come first in every digest. What it does not show is a phone number or email address, because the DRE does not publish those (see the next question).
No, because the DRE does not publish them. Each lead includes the licensee’s full name as licensed, license number, license type, status (Licensed or Licensed NBA), affiliation (the brokerage’s name, or no brokerage if NBA), full mailing address of record (street, city, state, and ZIP), county, and the original issue, effective, and expiration dates. We don’t scrape or invent contact details. Your team contacts new licensees through your usual recruiting channels.
In DRE records, “NBA” means No Broker Affiliated. The person holds a brand-new license but has not yet affiliated it with a brokerage — they cannot work under a broker they don’t have. In the latest file checked, 163 of 279 new licensees (58%) were in this group. They are the priority section of every digest.
The DRE publishes these lists as non-confidential public information. The use restriction in Civil Code §1798.61(b) applies specifically to the examinee list (people who took the exam), which we do not use. We use only the new licensee list, and the DRE’s list request form (RE 776) defines its fields without imposing a commercial-use or redistribution restriction on it. This page is general information, not legal advice.
It follows the DRE’s actual issuance pace. The file we verified had 279 new licenses across four days (Oct 27–30), and DRE statistics show 1,464 original licenses issued in August 2026 — roughly 340 per week. Slow weeks happen around holidays; busy months run higher. You always get the complete week, whatever the count.
You pay $1 and receive the weekly digest for 30 days. After that, it’s $99/month until you cancel. No annual contract and no setup fee. If it doesn’t help you recruit, cancel and you’re out $1.
